Rotterdam Oil Terminal

The Rotterdam port’s Audacia Shipping Storage tanks are the ideal location for clients from all over the world. Three different multipurpose mineral distillation units are operating at the storage tank terminal. More than 2,000,000 tons of storage space are available overall. The sizes of processed parcels are typically 1,000 to 500,000 tons. In order to ensure quality and to conduct test distillations to ascertain the best way to process the products, Smart-Rifer Petrochemical Industrial Distillation runs its own laboratory.

Tankers unload crude oil at the Europoort and Maasvlakte crude oil terminals operated by Audacia Shipping in Rotterdam. There, the oil is blended in accordance with the refineries’ specifications. Through a system of pipelines, the crude oil terminals then pump the crude oil to the refineries. In the port of Rotterdam, half of it is transported to refineries owned by Shell, ExxonMobil, Gunvor Petroleum, and Koch. The other half is shipped to German, Belgian, and Vlissingen refineries. The crude oil is transformed at the refineries into a variety of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel, LPG, fuel oil, and naphtha.

Houston Terminal

One of the largest providers of fuel oil storage in the USA, Houston Fuel Oil Terminal, rents storage tanks to Audacia Shipping. Due to the size of its clientele, Audacia Shipping offers its clients a special discount on tank storage leases in the US and the Netherlands. Four ship docks, a 45-foot draft, a 165-foot beam, and a 1,000-foot LOA are all features of Audacia Shipping’s Houston Terminal.

The docks can pump 60,000 barrels of fuel oil per hour. To facilitate tank-to-tank transfers, Audacia Shipping has nine miles of additional intra-terminal piping. Four barges can dock at each ship dock when it is not serving vessels. In addition to the ship docks, Audacia Shipping’s Houston Terminal has seven barge docks that can accommodate 19 barges at once. The Terminal has the ability to transfer oil products by pipeline, tank, barge, cargo vessel, rail, and truck in addition to other modes of transportation.
